Made in America

All I seem to watch lately is the Travel Channel, and my newest addiction is John Ratzenberger's Made in America.

Welcome back Cliffie!

The show is awesome, all about products, manufacturing, and all of the features are here stateside. What a concept.

Project Runway

I finally watched this week's episode. I'm so behind! Bradley's gone, i'm not sure if I cared about him, which i'm sure is probably reason enough that he went home. I'm a little scared for Robert, he and Michael and Allison are my faves, he's really gotta snap out of it!!!

I may not leave the house this fall...

There are FAR too many tv shows I'm looking forward to this fall. Most are on ABC though, so we can count on that at least half of my favorites will be cancelled a la Cupid, so that may free up some of my time. Here are the series premieres...

Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip
Ugly Betty
Brothers & Sisters
The Nine
6 Degrees

This looks good, but it has Anne Heche in it, who's crazy, don't know if I'll be able to stand it.

Men In Trees

And of course, back for more, is my existing fave...

Grey's Anatomy

And yet to be determined, since I don't have the kind of DVR where you can record something on one channel when you're watching something else, these two will have to do battle...

Project Runway

Simply can't get enough of Project Runway, but I am ANNOYED that we're still waiting to find out who broke the rules and is going to be asked to leave, if in fact that actually happens! I will seriously reconsider my allegiance to the show if it's been all just promotional hype for the commercials. Hopefully it'll all be revealed this wednesday.

In the meantime, still loving Laura, and Robert. However, as hot as I thought Keith was in the beginning, he seriously became Creepy McPervy when he complimented Miss USA's legs and appearance during their pitches. Just thinking about it again creeps me out. He's good, but I want him to go.

Sunday Morning

I am addicted to CBS' "Sunday Morning", the news show hosted by Charles Osgood. I think really it's designed for old people. The graphics are really low-tech, the topics are deemed "elegantly lowkey" by my Comcast tv guide. I've never been able to watch Face the Nation or Meet the Press or anything like that that the husband loves. It may indicate i'm less of an intellectual, but seriously, that stuff is BOring to me. But Sunday Morning is awesome, all arts, media, culture stories. And today they had a profile on Eva Zeisel. Fascinating ceramics designer, still at work at almost 100 years old.

I don't know what it is about Sundays and watching design shows, crafting, cooking, etc. But I love it. That and cleaning... Cleaning, cooking and crafting is a PERFECT Sunday morning.
